What I clean

The dust bunnies had a good run.

When I stop by for your estimate, we’ll walk through your home together. We’ll make a checklist for your regular visits and leave room for the things that come up along the way.

Kitchen: I clean the counters, backsplash, sink, faucet, stovetop, table and inside of the microwave. I wipe appliance fronts and cabinet handles, and clean up fingerprints and splashes on cabinet doors. The backsplash tried the sauce.
Bathrooms: I scrub the toilet inside and out, clean the tub and shower glass, then wipe the sink, vanity, cabinet fronts, mirrors and towel bars. I give soap buildup around fixtures and in shower corners a little extra attention.
Dusting throughout the house: I dust reachable shelves, furniture, nightstands, headboards, lamps, picture frames and windowsills. I also clear cobwebs from reachable corners.
Bedrooms and living spaces: I make the beds and change the sheets when you leave out fresh linens. In the living room, I dust end tables, wipe remotes, vacuum around furniture I can reach and straighten the cushions.
Windows, glass and mirrors: I wipe mirrors and sliding glass doors, dust reachable windowsills and blinds, and lift smudges from interior window glass. Nose prints count.
Floors and stairs: I vacuum carpets, rugs, stairs and reachable edges. I sweep and mop hard floors in entries, hallways, kitchens and bathrooms.
Entryways, laundry rooms and closets: I clean the floor and door area in the entry, wipe laundry room surfaces, and tidy visible closet shelves. We’ll decide which spaces belong on your checklist.
Finishing touches: I wipe doorknobs, switch plates and stair rails. I empty small wastebaskets and replace the liners when fresh ones are available.
